As a Senior Consultant based in NYC, Julie partners with prospective and existing clients to develop targeted strategies that grow and optimize their admissions and recruitment goals. She uses her background in higher education and the non-profit space along with Converge’s focus on new and next to provide impactful results.
BA in Psychology and minor in Art History from the University of Michigan. M.Ed in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania.
Julie has spent the past 13 years working at universities and with them. She started her career at the US-UK Fulbright Commission in London at the Educational Advisory Service, worked in graduate recruitment at Penn Engineering and helped launch a graduate school at NYU where she oversaw admissions and students services. Julie has also managed internship programs at the Washington Center and the Science & Policy Fellowships at the American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington, DC.
Julie is always hopping on trains, planes and automobiles to travel. She has visited over 55 countries and counting. However, her favorite place in the world is still the lakes in her home state of Michigan.
When Julie is not working or traveling, you can find her perfecting her handstand in hot yoga (she’s getting her teacher certification), riding her beach cruiser around Central Park, exploring different neighborhoods looking for the best cold brew, cocktails and oysters, watching college football, or catching up on podcasts.
